The Law Office Of FAY HASSAAN, P.C. was established in August 2005. Fay Hassaan commenced her growing practice in Oakville, Ontario and had an associate join her in December, 2005. In 2007, Fay Hassaan agreed to open Hassaan Chernecki Law Chambers (HCLC) with Todd Chernecki and moved her practice to Milton, Ontario. For approximately 2 years, Fay and Todd ran their complementary sole proprietorships from 400 Bronte Street South, in Milton, Ontario.
In 2009, HCLC took over the practice of Hedley Grieves, a retiring solicitor who had been in sole practice in the Milton area for over 40 years. Mr. Grieves predominately practiced in the areas of Will, Estates and Real Estate. In October 2011, Fay and Todd unanimously agreed to wind down HCLC and continue practicing solely through their sole proprietorships. Any HCLC client who dealt with Todd was free to continue working with him out of his practice in Toronto, Ontario, while Fay’s Client’s continued to work with her from her new office location- 330 Bronte Street, Suite 204.
In September 2011, The Law Office Of FAY HASSAAN, P.C. took over the practice of Ronald Flannagan, another retiring solicitor who had been in sole practice in the Milton area for over 40 years. At this time, The Law Office Of FAY HASSAAN, P.C. was providing services in the areas of: Real Estate, Family Law, Criminal Law, Corporate Law, Wills, and Civil Law. Taking over Mr. Flannagan’s files provided a good fit as his practice mainly consisted of Real Estate, Corporate, Wills, Estates, and Contract Law.
In 2013, Fay Hassaan incorporated her sole proprietorship and became The Law Office Of FAY HASSAAN, P.C. where she continues to serve her Client’s including many of Mr. Grieves and Mr. Flannagan’s Client’s in various areas of law. Currently, The Law Office Of FAY HASSAAN, P.C. welcomes high-school, College and University students as co-op and interns to gain valuable experience in a general practice Law Firm. It is Fay’s desire to build The Law Office Of FAY HASSAAN, P.C. into Milton’s biggest full-service Firm with 4 or more solicitors specializing in one or two areas of law. By providing a full-service Law Firm, it will be convenient for Client’s to receive the quality service they deserve and for Lawyers to enjoy a desirable work-life balance while meeting many, if not all of their Client’s needs at one location.
With just under 10 years of operation, Fay Hassaan has used her strong organizational, business and legal skills to make her desire into reality. She has built her reputation as being a confident, trustworthy, fair, and competent Solicitor who successfully and optimistically assists her Client’s on a daily basis who, not only continue to return, but offer her many referrals.
